Account & settings — profile, notifications, deleting
Open Settings from the user menu to manage your account. It has three parts: your profile, notifications, and deleting your account.
Your profile
The profile card holds the basics:
- Name — how you appear to collaborators.
- Username — your handle (letters, numbers, dashes).
- Email — used to sign in and to reach you.
- Timezone — so dates and times read correctly for you.
- Bio — a line about you and what you're working on.
- Avatar — an optional photo; otherwise your initial is shown.
A small % complete meter nudges you to round the profile out. Edit any field and choose Save changes.
Coming soon — a profile that helps Sandai coach you
We're working on letting Sandai draw on your profile for warmer, more relevant coaching — using your username to address you, your timezone to frame timing, and your bio to understand your background and goals. This isn't live yet: today Sandai works only from your project (its name, summary, and current LEARN phase), not your profile. When it ships, we'll say exactly what's shared and you'll stay in control of it — see Your data & privacy.
Enable app notifications
Under Notifications, choose Enable notifications to receive app alerts — such as project invites — on this device, even when Sandbox isn't open. Your browser will ask permission once; once granted the button shows Notifications on, and you can toggle it back off at any time.
Notifications are per device, so enable them on each phone or computer you want alerts on. On iPhone or iPad you must first add Sandbox to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from there; browsers that don't support push will say so in place of the button.
Delete your account
At the bottom of settings, Delete account permanently removes your account. This is irreversible: you're signed out and your account is deleted.
Two guards protect you and your collaborators:
- You can't delete while you still own a project. Every project needs exactly one owner, so transfer ownership in each project's settings first (see Member rights & permissions). The form tells you how many projects are still in the way.
- You confirm with your password before the deletion goes through.
